Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the discipline is to acquaint students with the basic categories of andragogy in the concept of adult education, to present andragogy in the science system and to analyze its basic characteristics.
After completing the course, students will be able to explain key concepts of andragogy, situate adult education in social-scientific contexts, compare selected approaches to adult learning and discuss current issues in adult education.

Prerequisites
|
Basic orientation in social sciences and willingness to work with academic texts in adult education. No formal prerequisite is required.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Seminar Work
Active participation in seminars, reading of assigned texts, preparation for discussions and submission of a seminar paper or essay according to the teacher's instructions. Aktivní účast na seminářích, čtení zadaných textů, příprava na diskuse a odevzdání seminární práce nebo eseje podle pokynů učitele.
