To develop basic academic skills at both the theoretical and practical levels, including the analysis of scholarly texts. Ability to produce an academic text, from the assignment stage to the final submission. To apply knowledge and skills in the area of academic competencies in further studies.
To analyse academic texts and write a sociological essay.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Student performance, Seminar Work
Active participation in seminars, completion of seminar assignments, reading of required literature, and oral defence of the seminar paper - see Moodle for further details.
