Course content
1. Defining the research topic. 2. Identifying a suitable journal/book. 3. Defining theoretical framework and methodology. 4. Planning the structure of the article/a chapter. 5. Preparation of article/chapter sections. 6. Copy-editing to comply with the house style of the journal. 7. Submitting the article/chapter. 8. Style and content re-writes according to the reviewers's and publisher's suggestions, proofreading, publication. The first criteria for choosing a journal/a book in which to publish your work should be the following: 1. Where and by whom do you want to ne read? 2. Which journal best fits the overall focus of your work?

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to prepare a research article on the dissertation topic for publication in a journal listed in the ERIH NAT database and in the list of Czech peer-reviewed journals without and Impact Factor in compliance with the current methodology of the Research, Development and Innovation Council (RVVI).
Abilities to: - define the topic, theoretical framework and methodology of a research article; - plan a research article; - copyedit and rewrite a research article to comply with the house style and to respond to the reviewer's suggestions; - communicate with editors and a scholarly publisher.

Writing the article and identifying a suitable publication venue, following a consultation with the supervisor; submission of the article for a peer review; communication with the publisher. After publication, the article must be entered into the Personal Bibliographic Database (OBD) FF UP. Upravit!
