Course content
The second part of the course is a discussion on the theoretical aspects of students' research. Each doctorate student will prepare a presentation in which he/she introduces the research design, the contemporary condition of their own fieldwork, and a proposal for further research. the discussion will focus on the identification and assessment of the theoretical aspects of their research issues. they will discuss the reasons for choosing the research topic, the aim formulation, and the outlining of the research questions, on their own subjectivity and hidden presumptions of the research. they will receive feedback from their tutors with the aim to strengthen the intersubjective triangulation in the preparatory phase of research.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is a critical reflection of the existing anthropological fieldwork. The course focuses on strengthening the students´reflexivity as a key skill in writing their dissertation.

Based on the reading of literature the course will discuss various research attitudes and techniques in relation to theory, and ethics. The students will get acquainted with the publications that summarize the outcomes of specific fieldwork research, both domestic and foreign. They will analyze and make a critical assessment of them.
