Course content
Following topics are studied in detail: Publisher's market in present-day Spain, philological edition, Spanish orthography, tools for editors.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to introduce students to the different levels of the world of edition in Spain. The subject is divided in three units: a) Issues and consolidation of the most important questions of the Spanish orthography nowadays; b) Theory and practice of the specific duties of the editor; c) Description of the publisher's market in present-day Spain.
The aim of this course is to acquire the basic skills of an editor. Students know fundamental methods of working and procedures in publishing houses.
Prerequisites
High level of Spanish.

The condition of successful passing is an active participation and following fulfilment of teacher's conditions.
