Course content
|
The course focuses on learning the basics of interpreting. The theoretical part is complemented by practical part which concentrates on practicing consecutive interpretation from Spanish, fully applying the audiovisual technology.

Learning outcomes
|
Students become familiar with the basic principles of interpretation. The theoretical subject matter is complemented with practical training of consecutive interpretation from and into Spanish, fully applying the audiovisual technology.
Basic knowledge of the theory of translation and interpretation, ability to resolve basic problems of consecutive interpretation.

Prerequisites
|
Advanced knowledge of Spanish, vocabulary in the field of culture, politics and history.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Dialog
To successfully complete the course it is necessary to be actively present in class and pass an oral exam in consecutive interpretation.
