Course content
In this seminar, mainly technical and marketing texts, but also literary texts, especially from the fields of fiction and journalism, will be translated from Czech into Spanish. The translations will be carefully edited in order to achieve a quality that meets publication standards in Spanish.

Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Attendace - 24 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 42 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 9 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Practical application of translation theory. Unlike Translation Seminar 1 and 2, the focus is on translating Czech texts into Spanish.
Mastery of the subject matter within the scope defined in the Course Objectives.

1. Regular attendance and active participation in seminars 2. Preparation for each class (text translation, ca. 20 standard pages)
