Course content |
*Excepcionalmente, los contenidos del curso del LS-2025 se corresponden con los del curso KRS/SCKDN (El viaje de Espa?a a la democracia). 1. The course will deal with chapters and historical figures of great relevance in the history of peninsular Spain and the Spanish empire in America, the Pacific Ocean and Africa. The History of Spain is very rich and wide, in several continents, and therefore, instead of offering a closed and concrete agenda, this course is open to the proposals and interests of the students. 2. The teacher will expose through images, videos, diagrams on the blackboard, magazines, old newspapers and historical materials, some topics previously negotiated with the students, so that they explore and learn in depth chapters and characters of the history of Spain (and the former Spanish empire (Latin America, Caribbean and Philippines until the nineteenth century), as well as in North Africa (Western Sahara and Rif protectorate) until 1975; and the Spanish Guinea (equatorial) until 1968. 3. Students will present their research (previously negotiated with the professor). 4. Student cooperation and participation is essential to the success of this course.
