Course content
In the field of linguistics students deepen their theoretical knowledge of all language plans and familiarize themselves with the basic linguistic concepts. In practical seminars students unite the language level in the field of grammatical structures, vocabulary and speaking skills and develop language skills in classes led by native speakers. During the studies, students may spend one semester at one of the eleven Spanish universities cooperating with the Department of Romance Philology within Erasmus Programme.

Learning outcomes
The study of Spanish philology is realized in parallel in the fields of linguistics and literature. During the studies, students enhance their knowledge of practical language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries.
As highly qualified Hispanists, graduates of the master study programme should be familiar with research methods in the field of linguistics and literature. They should also perfectly master the Spanish language in all its forms.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of Spanish language.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Essay, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work

The condition of passing the final state examination (language section), which is oral, is to demonstrate knowledge of linguistic areas to the extent of compulsory subject matter presented during the three-year study.
