To complete the course requirements, the student must accumulate 5 credits through teaching activities. The credit value varies by course type: teaching basic language exercises (2 hours per week) for students from other fields is worth 3 credits; specialized practical language courses (2 hours per week) for students within the relevant philology field are worth 4 credits; and specialized elective courses (2 hours per week, typically structured as a lecture combined with a seminar) are worth 5 credits. If the same course is taught to two separate groups, the teaching of the second group is awarded one credit less. If a doctoral candidate co-teaches a course with their supervisor or another instructor, they receive credit proportional to their share of the teaching. In the case of thesis supervision, the requirement for completing this course is the supervision of two bachelor's or final theses. To fulfill the requirements for this course, one may also include occasional lectures, workshops, or other pedagogical activities for bachelor's and master's students in which the doctoral candidate participates; for the purpose of assessment, the ratio applied is 1 ECTS credit = 25 hours of student work. When necessary, the student should consult with the course guarantor, the coordinator for academic affairs within the relevant field of philology, their supervisor, and the guarantor of this specific course. This course may be enrolled in multiple times (course variants 1-9).
