A stay abroad may be recognized if it consists of a study stay or internship at an academic or scientific institution abroad, a research stay in a foreign library, archive, etc., fieldwork abroad, a teaching/lecturing stay (e.g., under the Erasmus or CEEPUS programs), or participation in a summer school, seminar, or similar event. Such stays must be relevant to the student's field of study or dissertation topic. These stays may take place within the framework of various programs, projects, or grants (such as Erasmus+, CEEPUS, student grant competitions, or other scientific or specialized projects) and may be (co-)financed by a foreign entity or from non-public sources. Before departure, the student must consult with their supervisor and the guarantor regarding the suitability of the stay, its planned program, and its expected outcomes; the student must also duly follow all organizational instructions provided by the faculty's International Office. Upon return, the student must submit confirmation of the activities undertaken, along with a report, to their supervisor; once approved by the supervisor, these documents must be submitted to the guarantor. The student carries out the prescribed activity abroad for a minimum of two months.
