Course content
This course focuses on the ability to present research results to the scientific community, for example, through a contribution to a workshop. Before participating, the student must consult with their supervisor - or the program guarantor - regarding both the content of the contribution and the suitability and classification of the specific workshop. It is expected that the student will primarily present preliminary results from their doctoral research project; thus, earning these credits contributes to the ongoing preparation of the dissertation. However, contributions on other topics may also be accepted, provided they are relevant to the field of doctoral study. The guarantor will classify the contribution based on the supervisor's proposal and an assessment of the workshop's nature, taking into account disciplinary norms and the workshop's prestige. In the case of co-authored work, the student's specific contribution is taken into account. Literature: ČMEJRKOVÁ, Světla, František DANEŠ a Jindra SVĚTLÁ: Jak napsat odborný text. Praha: Leda, 1999.
