The aim of the course is to explore the fundamental principles of literary texts and how they are classified in modern literary theory. Students will become familiar with the issues and terminology of literary studies, both in terms of the nature of literature as an art form and its connections to other fields of human activity. They will also become familiar with the internal issues of the literary system (development, possibilities for comparison, formal aspects of the literary text, versology, etc.).
