Learning outcomes
|
The course aims to introduce students to the Portuguese-speaking countries of the African continent, focusing on Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, and Sao Tomé and Príncipe. Attention will also be paid to countries where Portuguese influence can be observed (e.g., Senegal).
Students will become familiar with basic information about selected countries in the Portuguese-speaking part of the African continent (Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Sao Tomé and Príncipe, and possibly Senegal) in the areas of geography, politics, religion, and culture.
