Course content
|
The course extends the knowledge of the history of Brazil. It offers a historical survey of the political, cultural and economic background of European immigration to Brazil in order to show the way in which European immigrants contributed to the formation of the contemporary multicultural Brazilian society.

Learning outcomes

The course extends the knowledge of the history of Brazil.
Students acquire basic information about Brazil and, at the end of the course, should understand better the modern Brazilian society, its culture and way of life.
