The students should hence obtain overall knowledge of the evolution of the Portuguese art in the context of the European art.
Students will learn about the development of visual arts and architecture, beginning with megalithic structures, through the remnants of ancient and Arab art, to the characteristic features of Portuguese art (Manueline style).
