Course content
Topic - Internationally acclaimed Portuguese films of recent decades (films selected by the teacher). Each film is accompanied by an introductory presentation and subsequent discussion, based on prior reading of reviews of the selected film and academic texts devoted to Portuguese cinema.

Learning outcomes
A series of selected films aimed at deepening the ability to understand native speakers and expanding knowledge of the history, society, and culture of Portugal.
Students will broaden their knowledge of Brazilian culture and society while deepening their ability to understand native speakers.
Prerequisites
The course is taught in Portuguese. Students are expected to be able to understand extended discourse in Portuguese.
