Course content
In this seminar, the students will practise translation of common business correspondence. Attention is also paid to translation of Portuguese literary texts, both modern and older, and to the Czech theories of translation.

Learning outcomes
In this seminar, students will practise translation of common business correspondence. Attention is also paid to translation of Portuguese literary texts, both modern and older, and to the Czech theories of translation.
Students will get acquainted with the basic theory of translation and will improve their skills in translation of texts from different styles and registers into their mother tongue.
