Course content
|
The course is focused on the differences between European and Brazilian Portuguese and the acquaintance with the most important dialects of Portugal and Brazil. Also other language variations existing in Portuguese-speaking countries are studied. The course is supplemented with the listening and text analyses.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on the geographic variation of European Portuguese, both on the continent and on the islands (Azores, Madeira). It also shows differences between European and Brazilian Portuguese and the acquaintance with the most important dialects of Brazil. Also other language variations existing in Portuguese-speaking countries are studied. The course is supplemented with the listening and text analyses.
