Learning outcomes
Based on selected texts from Portuguese poetry, prose, and drama, this seminar explores a deeper semantic and formal analysis of poetic texts, poetic figures and tropes, and other poetic devices. - Analysis and Interpretation - Interpretation and Literary Studies - Major Interpretive Theories of the 20th Century - Literariness and Textual Understanding - Interpretive Approaches to the Internal Structure of Narrative - Interpretation of Narrative from the Perspective of Its Reference
Students acquire ability of a deeper perception of poetic texts. They learn to discuss them and to approach them independently during their interpretation.
