Learning outcomes
|
Basic economic managing skills in theory and practice will be dealt with in detail. The gist of the subject is the analysis of the overall economic situation of the business subject. Orientation in a legal form of business activity is the content of the subject as well as appropriateness to a certain type of business activity and, above all, its focus on the diagnostics of a firm in relation to its balance sheet: property and its coverage by insurance; revenues, costs, specific indicators of firm operations: profitability, solidity and activity. Some firm managing procedure of the enterprise for a coming period of time is recommended via selected economic managing methods.
After the completion of this course, the student will be able to: - understand basic economic connections and relationships in firms, - understand decisive documents of entrepreneurial subjects, - economically interpret the achieved results, - differentiate an economic state of crisis of the subject, - set up a system for the effective management of an entrepreneurial subject.

Prerequisites
|
The subject of economics and economic management as a subject of basic economics does not need special expertise, in addition to knowledge of mathematics, statistics and accouting.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Student performance, Written exam
Credit written test. A credit: active involvement at lectures; seminar work (practical analysis of the economic situation of a selected subject) Examination: requirements according to university custom (3 questions)
