Course content
|
The course examines some authoritative voices of women's Italian literature of the second half of the twentieth century, such as Ginzburg, Sapienza and Morante. The analysis of the novels will focus thematically on the identification of themes such as female subjectivity, the relationship with the mother, social and political "engagement", individual and historical memory.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to redefine the historiographical frameworks of Italian literature of the second post-war period in the light of the literary production of women; also address the main problematic issues and theoretical issues related to female writing.
