Course content
The lecture introduces to the contemporary Italian syntax and the relevant terminology. 1. Syntax (definition, bibliography, syntax of the clause and of the phrase) 2. Clause (definition, clause classification, syntagma) 3. Subject (definition, types of Subject, grammatical and logical Subject) 4. Predicate (definition, types of Predicate, examples) 5. Clause constituents (general characteristic, classification, examples) 6. Substantive and adjective syntagmas (classification, examples) 7. Verb, adverbial and prepositional syntagmas (classification, examples)

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)

Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with the structure of simple sentences in contemporary Italian.
Student is able to communicate in the most common Italian.

Written exam, Analysis of linguistic, Systematic Observation of Student

Active participation in seminars, preparation for every lesson. Passing the written test.
