Course content
|
Introduction to the issue of the functional styles of the contemporary Italian. Regional and social levels of the language, the text definition, functional styles, registers, classification of the texts. A special attention is dedicated especially to the verbal texts (pragmatical and literary) which are analysed and confronted with each other from the point of view of their structure, lexical and grammatical aspects, reigsters and styles that characterize the individual types of the texts.

Learning outcomes

Overview of the functional styles of the contemporary Italian in comparison with the Czech language.
Studtents will deepen their knowledge of Italian language system.
