Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to describe the life, material conditions, mentality and imagination of Renaissance people and to illustrate the material and cultural and social background of period literature. Students will work with sources and period texts (contracts, letters, chronicles, merchants´ memoirs, excerpts from tractates and fiction.
Students will know the life, material conditions, mentality and imagination of Renaissance people and will be able to apprehend these phenomena as a background for artistic production.
