Course content
Translation exercises of simpler Italian texts into the Czech language, applying the knowledge of the translatological theories. A special attention is payed on the specific aspects of the both languages and their confrontation.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to become familiar with the translational techniques for translation of simpler texts.

Written exam

Active participation in seminars, preparation for every lesson. Translation of a selected text.
