Course content
The lecture introduces the students into the issues of the morphological system of current Italian, provides them with an adequate Czech and Italian terminology and classification of parts of speech. The individual parts of speech (articles, nouns, adjectives, pronouns, numerals, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections) are discussed according to their grammatical categories. The seminar is aimed at practical application of theoretical knowledge.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to explore the system of Italian morphology.
Accomplishing the course should enable the student to master knowledge about form and function of parts of speech in Italian, which enables them to understand them, as well as create grammatically correct and intelligible expressions in Italian.

Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Student performance

Active participation in class, preparation for each class. The exam evaluates the student's knowledge of the material. Written and oral exam.
