Course content
The lecture introduces the issues of the morphological system of contemporary Italian, introduces the relevant Czech and Italian terminology and classification of parts of speech. Individual parts of speech (verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections) are viewed from the perspective of their grammatical categories. The seminar is focused on the practical mastery of theoretical knowledge.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge of the morphological system of the Italian language.
The student will acquire knowledge about the form and functions of parts of speech in Italian, which will enable him/her to better understand and create grammatically correct and understandable statements in the Italian language.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student

Active participation in exercises, preparation for each lesson. The exam tests knowledge of the studied topics.
