Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is mastering the language of literary criticism and a guidline to write reviewing texts. Students will become familiar with examples of contemporary literary criticism in Italy, which will analyze and try to write their own critical texts. In addition to technical competence they will gain experience in publishing activities.
Students will learn the language of literary criticism at a basic level and will learn how to structure the reviewing texts. Students will know representative examples of contemporary literary criticism in Italy, will absorb their methods and style. They will gain practical experience in writing their own critical texts and in publishing activities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam

Participation in lectures and seminars, reading of specified literary and literary-critic texts, elaboration of own critical texts.
