Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to deepen students' knowledge of contemporary Italian prose, to acquaint them with the trends in this period, with major names of literary life. Students will get acquainted with the canon and even with lesser known works of modern Italian literature, will learn the most interesting genres, themes, authorial poetics. Chronological definition is approximately from the late 19th century to the late 20th century.
Students will deepen their knowledge of contemporary Italian prose, will get acquainted with the trends in this period, with major names of literary life. Students will get acquainted with the canon and even with lesser known works of modern Italian prose, will learn the most interesting genres, themes, authorial poetics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam

Participation in lectures and seminars, reading specified literary and scientific texts, preparing for the exam, presentation of paper, passing the exam.
