Historical trends of Italian film. Projection and detailed analysis of films: Soldini and Pane e tulipani. Crialese and Respiro, Nuovo Mondo. Giordana, La meglio giovent?. Ozpetek, Le fate ignoranti, Saturno contro.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to show the film as the key to understanding social phenomena.
Students will learn professional film terminology and basic interpretation of film in all its components, with the ability to interpret Italian film in a social context.

Oral exam, Student performance
Active participation in seminars, preparation for every lesson. Passing the exam.
