Course content
The seminar focuses on working with certain authentic materials. It´s material of non-didactic kind, developed by native speakers for native speakers, which can be suitably used in the teaching of a foreign language, just because it reflects very well not only the contemporary language, culture and traditions of the country related to this language, but also its extra-linguistic reality. Students in the seminar will learn to select materials that have a potential pedagogical and communicative value, analyze it and then use it when practising the teaching of a foreign language. Attention in the seminary is also devoted to the use of various types of language games, which, when properly selected and included in the lessons according to their purpose, are a very effective exercise of mainly communicative nature and can be successfully used in foreign language lessons.
