Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to enhance the ability of analyzing valuable literary texts, selected from the canon of Italian literature or from the contemporary literature. When reading and analyzing the texts we are going to focus on their genre, language and geographical characteristics; we are going to define the kind of the recipient and the purpose for which the texts have been written; we are going to study the relation with other texts by the same author, with other texts from the same period and with the literary tradition. We are going to analyze the literary structure of the texts, their effect on the reader, the use of the rhetorical devices, of the euphony, the author's originality.
The students will enhance their ability of analyzing valuable literary texts, selected from the canon of Italian literature or from the contemporary literature.
