Learning outcomes
The objective of this course is to learn the vocabulary of marketing and negotiation, to learn to communicate with the customer in writing and speech. The students are able to apply the basic methods of modern marketing, including the international elements and the use of Internet. As the stategical issues will be delt with in further courses, the emphasis is put on operative marketing. Usually, a lecture is given by a professional from the field. The course is designed in an interactive way using innovative methods in the context of e-learning environment Moodle. Students work with the up-to-date materials and thus acquire the active vocabulary of economics meeting the needs of the labour market.
In the course, the students will learn the basic knowledge and skills in the following scope and they will be able to demonstrate them in the exam: The students are able to explain the basic concepts of marketing and to use them in negotiation with the customer.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam

E-learning work by means of the Moodle interface. Recording new vocabulary, responding to discussions, fulfillment of the tasks assigned in Moodle, downloading of the mandatory readings. The course is completed by a test of vocabulary and an exam consisting of a case study and a test of the acquired knowledge.
