Course content
The course consists of the following parts: I. Thematic cycles of lectures II. Tutorials with the teacher, individual solutions to problems of the scientific papers III. Presentation of the individual work's results in group and the defence of the work

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Methods of Written Work
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 5 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 25 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 20 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 200 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to develop student's ability to bring their own critical view on a phenomenon of their choice related to the cultural history of the Francofonnes countries, present this view in writing (20 pages) and justify their ideas in oral form during a professional colective discussion (in Czech). The topics depend on the students and should be consulted with the teacher.Francofo
To analyse critically, to work with sources, to be able to individually write a coherent scholarly text of at least 20 pages in Czech. To be able to prepare and carry out a presentation. To be able to lead an interdisciplinary discussion.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Seminar Work

1/ regular attendance and active participation in the seminars 2/ preparation for each class, knowledge of the text to be analysed 3/ written text, oral presentation and defence of the results of the individual work
