Course content
The attention will be paid to the following topics: 1. Didactics of foreign languages and its development 2. The role of teacher, the role of student 3. Didactic and methodical principles in foreign language teaching 4. Setting of objectives and contents of the foreign language class 5. Organization of the classwork 6. Typology of exercises 7. Assessment and evaluation 8. The error, language interference, transfer

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)

Learning outcomes
To prepare the students for the practical use of the obtained professional competence in teaching French language. The course is focused mainly on the current trends in foreign language teaching.
