Course content
Themes discussed: 1. French bibliographical norms and habits 2. The comment apparatus and bibliography 3. Formal textual properties (orthography and orthotypography) 4. Electronical information sources for French philology Another part of the seminars is based on individual collaboration of the students with their supervisor, based on a specific chosen theme. The supervisor recommends sources and literature, a methodology, a work schedule. The students' attendance in diploma seminars guarantees a systematic approach to the making of their bachelor thesis.

Learning outcomes
The focus of this class is bachelor thesis preparation. The first part of the seminar introduces the students to methodological and expert rules for creating a bachelor diploma thesis. They will be able to apply rules for searching and working with sources, citing primary and secondary sources, relating them in the bibliography, mainly with the focus on the specifics of French philology, French usage and French orthographic rules.
The students are able to orient themselves in available bibliographical sources and uste them effectively during the writing of their diploma theses. They will also learn about the French citation standards and ortotyographic usage.
Prerequisites
The students are expected to pass the Diploma seminar 1 before signing up for this class.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog

Passing this class is conditioned by the students' fulfilling all of the necessary requirements proposed by the teacher and by the submitting of another complete part of the thesis within the scope of 10 standard pages.
