Course content
Definition of the terms region, regional element, patriotism, national and cultural identity, inherence. Regional homeland science and its use in primary school. Cultural and historical heritage and its importance for the life of generations. Traditions of selected regions. Topics for pedagogical practice with a focus on regional national studies.

students should be able to: " characterize the concept of region and regional element, patriotism, national and cultural identity, inherence " to know and clarify the cultural values and traditions of the region, " increase interest in the past and present of your region, " to revive and preserve the traditions of the region and its cultural and historical heritage, " to characterize the traditions and specifics of their region

Seminar Work

The student will create a presentation on an important personality of the region, which will be for the students of 4.-5. primary school year.
