Course content
The seminar is focused on up-to-date topics in pedagogical practice.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Attendace - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 4 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Seminar on pedagogy is focused on up-to-date padagogical theory and practice. Students should be led to follow up-to-date pedagogical events,to familiarize with new approache and trends in educational practice, be able to analyze and evaluate them and use them when teaching.

Essay

Credit Requirements: 1. Students must attend 11 of the 12 lessons. 2. Students must successfully pass the final project. List of Course Assessments: 1. Lesson Attendance & Participation 2. Comprehensive Final Project o Create and Perform a Think Aloud in a Read Aloud o Create a Mini-Lesson for Comprehension Strategies o Demonstrate knowledge and integration of group work, assessment, differentiation, scaffolding and higher level thinking questions
