Definition of the terms region, regional element, patriotism, national and cultural identity. Cultural values and traditions of your region. Traditions of the region and its cultural and historical heritage. Regional homeland studies in the FEP ZV (educational areas and integration of the curriculum about the region). Ideas for pedagogical practice with a focus on regional homeland studies. Presentation of selected prominent personalities of the region for 1st grade pupils. primary school

Learning outcomes
|
Emphasis is placed on regional issues, the use of theoretical knowledge in practice (work with FEP BE in the area of Man and his world).
Students will be provide with competences that will get to the content and objectives of the courses.

Prerequisites
|
Prerequisites and co-requisites Knowledge of geography, history, social sciences and region in the scope of primary school curriculum and general orientation in didactics of homeland studies.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
Countinuous tasks. Presentation of an important personality of the region for pupils of the 4th or 5th year of elementary school.
