Course content
System of punishments, non-custodial punishments, probation. Sentencing. Protective measures. Criminal liability and the sanctioning of juveniles. Crimes against life and health. Crimes against liberty. Crimes against human dignity in sexual sphere. Crimes against family and children. Crimes against property. Generally dangerous crimes. Crimes against public order. Economic crimes.

Learning outcomes
The second related term is dedicated to some of the topics in the field of general part of criminal law especially the study of a particular part of substantive criminal law, which contains the elements of specific types of crimes. There are also special sanctions that fit the specific crime. A special part contains a long list of crimes. The interpretation corresponds with the current concept of values, beginning with those elements that are primarily focused on the protection of individual interests (life and health, freedom and human dignity, property), followed by the explanation of elements of a crime protecting social interests. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this subject will gain the knowledge and skills necessary for correct classification of specific crimes.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is conditional upon completion of the subject Criminal Law 1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

In order to get the credit it is essential that the students have a regular attendance in the scope set by the seminar leader and they must also be successful at the written test from the substantive criminal law. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
