Objectives: After completing the course, students should be able to: - Define the scope and goals of psychotherapy, - Characterize psychotherapy, individual and group, - Explain the nature of access in selected psychotherapeutic approaches - Enumerate and characterize methods of psychotherapy, - Identify and characterize important personalities in psychotherapy. Topics: Scope, definitions and divisions of psychotherapy. Group psychotherapy. Overview of basic psychotherapeutic approaches. Overview of methods in psychotherapy.
