After completion of this subject, students will be able to : " define the course main objectives " know the basic terminology and ability o use it in the psychological disciplines taught later. " have knowledge to diferentiate between normality and abnormality " understand and describe specific psychological states, processes and most common disroders developed in childhood. " characterize specific psychological disorders, symptoms, and etiology. Topics: " Definition of the course fields of study; defining normality and abnormality. " Determination and prognosis of psychopatological phenomena in childhood. " Child abuse and neglect syndrome (CAN) " Psychological deprivation and attachment problems. " Review of categories of selected psychological disorders. " Attention deficit syndrome in ADHD, characteristics, etiology, how to properly work/approach children with ADHD " Neurotic displays with respect to age; eating disorders. " Behaviour disroders in childhood. " Hyperactivity syndrome in ADHD, characteristics, etiology, how to properly approach children with ADHD Mood disorders, symptoms, etiology.
