Course content


Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization), Group work

Learning outcomes
The course provides a practice-oriented introduction to topics related to people management, organizational culture, and the management of human resources processes. It focuses on how managerial styles, organizational vision, and values influence relationships within an organization and its overall performance. Students will gain an overview of modern approaches to human resource managementfrom recruitment and onboarding to employee evaluation, motivation, and development. They will learn to recognize team dynamics, understand the impact of organizational culture, and communicate effectively and resolve conflicts at various levels of the organization. Teaching is delivered through interactive seminars, practical exercises, and simulated situations that allow students to practice managerial techniques in a safe environment. Emphasis is placed on the development of competencies applicable to managerial, HR, and administrative practice. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this course will gain knowledge and skills required to comprehend effective functioning of organizations, namely from the viewpoint of labour activities in the organization.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.
