Learning outcomes
This course explains that basic components required for existence and functioning of organizations are groups of people that coordinate their efforts in order to achieve certain goal. Organizations are open systems, which are influenced by both external and internal environments, to which they must adapt. To achieve the main goal, represented in majority organizations by profit, it is necessary to guarantee effectiveness of organisation's functioning, that is to ensure rational coordination and harmonization of all activities. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this course will gain knowledge and skills required to comprehend effective functioning of organizations, namely from the viewpoint of labour activities in the organization.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.
