Course content
Seminar topics: Conflict, factors influencing the course of the conflict; People's reactions to conflict situations, Ways of resolving conflicts, competition - cooperation; Effective communication, negotiation; Mediation, basic characteristics, objectives, principles; Participants in mediation and relations between them; Role of mediator competence; Phase and means of mediation; Areas of use mediation, family mediation

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the essence and basic characteristics of the conflicts, the reactions of people to them and the possibilities of solving them. The main focus will be on the method of mediation, both theoretically and practically.
After completing the course, students should: - Be familiar with the characteristics of interpersonal conflicts and people's reactions to them - Know the basic ways of solving conflicts - Know the method of mediation and its application in practice - Get basic mediation skills

The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

Student performance

For completion of the course is necessary to actively participate in seminars to the extent specified seminar leader, task fulfillment and successful colloquium.
