1. The importance of mental hygiene, the definition of the concept of mental health, general assumptions of mental equilibrium 2. Self-recognition and self-learning, methods of self-knowledge 3. Stress as a risk factor threatening the mental balance and its manifestations. 4. Causes and consequences of stress. 5. Managing acute and chronic stress. 6. Life in terms of mental hygiene. 7. Methods of imaginative psychotherapy. 8. Hypnotic and auto hypnotic methods. 9. Daily mode, time management, sleep and rest. 10. Methods of meditation. 11. Relaxation methods

Learning outcomes |
The subject of Mental Health Care is based on the practical need to acquire basic skills related to the ability to handle the mentally challenging profession of lawyer and other occupations based on the interaction with people. These abilities will also help students to manage their demanding studies, especially considering the time management and completing their exams. Students will be acquainted with the scientific basics of mental hygiene related to the theory of stress as a risk factor threatening the mental equilibrium and on the other hand they will acquire the practical skills of coping with it. An important tool for teaching the subject will be the practice of simple relaxation, imagination and meditation techniques.
Ability to quickly and effectively manage the risk situations that cause the stress response of the organism. The ability to quickly and effectively manage risky situations that cause a stress response in the body. Training of the ability to be aware of and then control one's own mental and emotional production so that the student becomes aware that he/she is responsible for how he/she feels, what he/she experiences and consequently what lifestyle he/she lives. |

Essay, Student performance
Active participation in 80% of the exercises and a final essay on methods of self-psychohygiene. |
