Learning outcomes |
The main objective of the one-semester long course is to get students acquainted with the contemporary problems of democratic governance in the world. Attention will be oriented towards theory of democracy and contemporary varieties of democracy, the topics such as consolidation of democracy difficulties or democratization of supranational structures (case of EU) will be covered as well.
Students who have completed this course should identify the main problems of democratization in the world. They will also strengthen their analytical skills. |
