Learning outcomes |
Theoretical and practical information on resuscitation of man + urgent measures in selected emergent situations (traumas burns, frostbites, acute myocardial infarction, fit of epilepsy). Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Student knows basic procedures of providing urgent care in selected injuries and illnesses. He/she is able to minimize rizics connected to providing firs aid. He/she is able to aply his/her theoretical knowledge in real emergency situations. |

Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.

Assessment methods and criteria |
Written exam, Student performance
80% attendance, completion of a practical resuscitation training session, successful completion of a credit test. |
