Course content
Content Lecture topics: 1. Nervous system, terms and definitions. 2. Dorsal spinal cord. 3. Medulla oblongata. 4. Pons Varolii, base of the fourth ventricle, cerebellum. 5. Midbrain. 6. Diencephalon. 7. End brain. 8. Basal ganglia. 9. Sensory neural pathways. 10. Motor neural pathways. 11. Sensitive neural pathways. 12. Head nerves. Seminar topics: 1. Structure of the heart. 2. Vascular system. 3. Respiratory system. 4. Digestive system. 5. Urinary system. 6. Reproductive system.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Methods of Written Work, Demonstration, Training in job and motor Skils

Learning outcomes
This course provides students with morphological structure of tissues and organs, with topographic anatomy of particular structures. As a part of the instruction a dissection in department of pathology in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry will be demonstrated.
Students know functional and topographical anatomy of movement systém.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of biology on level of secondary school.

Written exam, Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student
